Excelente doctor llevo 14 años en tratamiento en Estados Unidos ,llegando a playa lo busque para dar seguimiento ,es muy experiente sabe hacer sus preguntas sabe escuchar , muy educado, supo detectar e entender mis problemas y sobre todo me pudo seguir con los mismos medicamentos que siempre he tomado lo recomendó mucho.

Simply the best in Playa del Carmen and Mexico. As Spanish interpreter I worked with at least 20 of the "best" psychiatrists in California...I never ever encountered one as good as Dr. Polanco Benois. He is very professional, knowledgable and objective...at the same time he is a compassionate and empathetic human being. Not at all the typical cold detached psychiatrist...I recently took a loved one to him, he immediately identified the problem and explained the possible symptoms without being judgmental, therefore makes you feel at easy. I highly recommend him.

Stay away! This doctor is an unfortunate unprofessional who does violence to the principle of “first, do no harm.” In the first five minutes of our appointment he invalidated me and the diagnosis of multiple health professionals who had been part of my treatment for the last 20 years. He dismissed my diagnosis, arrogantly challenging my condition, with absolutely zero knowledge about me, and spewing none sense about my condition. He clearly is illiterate in the autism spectrum disorder, but asserted within 5 minutes of our consult that everything I have been told by other extremely qualified professionals for decades is flatly wrong. I was astounded by his Lack of knowledge, and his breathless arrogance in stating in categorical terms that he knew better— in under 5 minutes! All the while trying to sell me an expensive test for prescription antidepressants, when I explicitly stated that SSRIs where not the right course of treatment for me. I was left in shock and complete dismay by his lack of clinical awareness of psychiatric patients. Stay away from this quack. He’s a dishonor to the mental health profession.
