Good food, but waiter messed up the order. Careful with seafood during months that end in "er" my dad fell sick, no one else did.

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now. The service and the food itself is stupendous. I definitely recommend this place.

Puerto Barraco was fantastic for lunch yesterday. No reservation needed, although it's quite a popular restaurant. We were seated immediately and had a choice of where to sit. In spite of being nowhere near a beach, it is surrounded by lush landscaping that gives it a tropical feel. The rustic interior is inviting, and they have a playroom with a TV for kids in there. All COVID procedures are being followed. We started off with an order each of Shrimp Pescadillas (fish quesadillas) and Marlin Pescadillas. My favorite was the Marlin. I also ordered Mango Aguachile, which is basically raw shrimp in an acidic and very light sauce that "cooks" them, in a similar way in which ceviche is made. I practically ate the entire order myself ?. Then we each had an entreé with shrimp, but all were different. The Almond Shrimp is crusted, like coconut shrimp, just with almonds. Another was called Pipe, those have beurre noir with capers and onions. Zarandeados were next, those have a spicy and creamy sauce and came with a salad. Finally I had a Surf and Turf Molcajete (stone mortar). Both the shrimp and the steak are in a super flavorful and not spicy sauce, and soooooo tender even a fork is enough to cut through. We washed it all down with Lima Agua Fresca, which is a semi bitter, semi sweet citrus that's native to Mexico, 2 pitchers lol. Finally, I can't resist a good dessert, so we had Chongos, a sweet curd style dessert that Zamora is famous for, an empanada filled with chongos that came with ice cream and finally a banana mousse pie with hot house made caramel ? All this for less than you'd pay at Chili's lol. I highly recommend this stop for anyone visiting Zamora. Oh, and their kids menu was pretty impressive, too.

They are hit and miss. The calamari is always over cooked/burnt. Our kids like this place as we have eaten here a bunch of times. Has a nice open air feel and a nice breeze. Has parking and a kids play room.

Real clean place, very nice area. The food was not bad, we ordered the fire grilled shrimp, fire grill fish fillet and a seafood tower. The hot food was pretty good, definitely taste the smoke. The best dish we ordered was the seafood, very fresh tasting, and good amount of food. A bit pricey, you could definitely find cheaper seafood spots around Zamora.
