I mention boys as I was on the dock booking my trip with the Capt and saw them leaving happy as could be. Not only did we catch several sailfish and 5 Marlin we found the captain and the first mate very friendly and knowledgeable. It was the highlight of our vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Will definitely be back next year.

He was told the guides would speak English and had all of the right equipment. They didn’t speak English, they only brought left-handed rods that didn’t work, and they didn’t understand fly fishing. Don’t offer something you don’t do and ruin a whole day of vacation for an expensive, poor experience. Unbelievably bad.

Drove north about an hour and trolled back to the marina for 5 hours with the Pangas. Make sure you confirm with the crew ahead of time that you want to fish for game fish and not troll the hotel zone. Crew pointed out a few dolphins and whales but didn't really seem interested in finding the fish. Really wish I could have had one of the better experiences others have reported after flying 5,000 miles from Alaska with our family. Was hoping for a fishing trip to remember but we could have caught bigger fish off the dock this time.

Me and my 2.5-YO daughter had a wonderful morning of near-constant action. Barracuda, Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, and skipjack. The crew were very friendly and professional, knew exactly what they were doing and made sure we had a good time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour or recommend captain Pete again. Very reasonable pricing as well.

The crew was super attentive to anything we needed, and Capt. Pete taught us so much about PV, fishing and the whales. We had a front row seat to a pod of whales jumping and flapping their tails. A once in a lifetime show! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!
