★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The way to Punta Mosquito is kind of different. We walked through the sea on some sand banks for about 1 hour from Hotel Las Nubes were we parked our bikes. It was a nice walk and punta mosquito has a beautiful view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly beautiful place with incredible wildlife. I recommend a boat tour or the safety of a kayak.
It is illegal to walk here and can be quite dangerous. Large stingray are abundant in the water as are a smaller more poisonous local species. In fact there are multiple poisonous sea creatures that could easily ruin your holiday. Being in such a remote place any injuries would be difficult to treat. Even past the protected zone where kite surfers meet I found several large stingray hiding in the sand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk here out along the sandbar is no joke and took us like an hour and half each way from town. We both brought backpacks and it was shallow enough the whole way so they wouldn’t get wet. The walk feels even harder when going through water the whole time. It’s definitely magical but wear lots of sunscreen and bring plenty of water. We saw 3 flamingos in the distance, stingrays, and lots of fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice walk along the sandbanks. Check the tides before you go. Watershoes are not necessary. However thread carefully, we saw a stingray swimming by. You don't want to stand on those

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not white sand beach like many photos made me think. Lots of sargazo, no flamingos, no snorkel just some pelicanos, seaguls, also a couple of mantarrayas. In deed if you walk you only reach walfway because it is protected area. Nevertheless i liked walking through the sandbar parallel to the beach, water level was maximum 70cm, mainly below knee but it depends on the tide. I was lucky to see a snake (python?) on the beach. Better to start the sand bar in front of the last hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To go there, you can go at the end of the zone 8 by taxi 50$ and start walking tomard the point.
You will have to walk on the sand bande in the sea. To go there, water will rize above your hips and below your chest. Then, most of the time, water is up to your knee. You will see different birds and fish. Water is incredible. Unfortunately, you can't go till the end since it's a natural reserve for the flamingo. It's still a really nice walk. I will advise you to go on the morning to avoid the sun. There is no shadow at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful sand beach with quite clear water. Too windy and too much algues on the day I visited though. Good for relaxing more than swimming as there were many waves on that day. Nice restaurants, bars all over the beach to have a drink or snacks. Some music bands in some areas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach where you can admire different kinds of marine life and sea birds. We spotted pelicans, sea eagles and if you are lucky enough you can spot flamingos as well (April to September). You can park your bike or golf cart at Hotel Nubes and from there walk straight in front of you for more or less 1 hour. Make sure to check the tides before going!
