I've been going here once or twice a year for several years for cleanings - awesome work and very reasonable prices. This last visit I had work done on a tooth by Dr. Jesus Hernandez Guliien, and he did a first class professional job. *his father and uncle are both dentists. This clinic has a very good reputation among locals in PV.

Dra Alheli Gutierrez did a great job cleaning my teeth. With a soda treatment and cleaning off tartar my teeth got notably whiter than before. The pricing was accessible and the office really clean and stylish. Good service and an excellent job, I can really recommend this place.

I have lived in Puerto Vallarta for several years now, and took my time investigating all dental options here before choosing Dr. Rivas. His attention to detail and listening to what the patient wants set him above all the others. He also is a perfectionist! Which of course is exactly what you want when it comes to your smile! He had the lab redo several of my teeth so that they fit and looked exactly the way we discussed. I highly recommend him, you will not be disappointing with the results!

I also highly recommend Dr. Rivas at PV Smiles. Enjoyed our chats (his English was excellent and I don't speak Spanish) and the pain free procedures. Very much appreciated the diligence he showed in getting the impressions right and the pride he takes in his work. Facility is clean and well equipped and my two gold crowns feel great. Good value for money that makes the trip worthwhile. Thank you Dr. Rivas.

I had 7 porcelain veneers done on my top teeth. I had a great experience at PV smile. I would recommend to anyone considering dental work in PV. dr Rivas also speaks excellent English.

I've been searching for a great dentist since moving to Mexico from Vancouver, Canada, five years ago, and I'm so happy to have been recommended to Dr. Rivas. His office is immaculate and professional and his equipment and skills are state-of-the-art. I was able to get an appointment the same day for a chipped tooth which was repaired quickly and without any discomfort. Dr. Rivas speaks English flawlessly but his rates were extremely reasonable compared to other dental offices in Puerto Vallarta which cater to American and Canadian patients. I was extremely impressed.

Nice people but very poor quality work. I must be one of the unfortunate ones. Sadly... I trusted these people and I am in much worse shape than when I arrived to them. They still have my money and I gave them many hours and now have to pay thousands to fix what they did to me. In short, they lied about the materials they used in my mouth, left me for days with sharp objects that sliced up my tongue, tried to get away with the wrong sized abutments for the crowns and tried to cover that fact by using foul cement which still tastes bad 2 weeks later. Within days, one crown fell out, the other is so loose but has to be drilled through to remove properly and they left me with a non functional bite overall. I do not recognize my own mouth and am in personal distress and now have to go to someone to fix this mess. Additionally, they did not properly afix an onlay and the new X-rays show that they caused me more damage than good. Please sit in their chair at your own peril. Insist that they show you their plan and their materials and they they take post X-rays that requires them to stand behind their work. PLEASE... make sure they remove everything from your mouth, even if you are numb. Again... nice people (he came to my hotel to try to help) but something has gone wrong here and while I’m sure they had a good reputation, perhaps they are now taking advantage of this and are using cheaper materials and are not careful, leaving us to suffer. I’m sorry this happened and that I have to share this but I would not feel right if someone else got hurt like I did. I hope this can prevent anyone else from suffering by reading this and taking proper action.
