E	Esgardo Magallanes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rancho la coronilla del ocote se encuentra en la región centro del estado de jalisco en el municipio de zapopan colindando con el municipio de tequila, esta zona rural se encuentra a una altura de 1400 metros a nivel del mar aproximadamente. En este rancho podemos encontrar entre muchas cosas algo que sobresale son sus grandes miradores naturales y su gran coronilla, un mirador con una vista de 360 grados que es de donde nace el nombre de el rancho, también encontraras algunas cuevas bajando un poco la barranca. su flora principalmente son tescalames, robles, ensinos, guamuchil, parota, guizache asi como flores de temporada etc etc y su fauna se basa a base de jabalines, tejones, víboras y gran cantidad de aves etc etc. Bajando un poco la barranca podemos encontrar manantiales de agua sarca tales como los que están en suchitan, el platanito, el enbolvedero entre otros mas. Su gente se mantiene a base de la siembra del maíz , frijol, ciruela y en algunos casos el nopal entre otros, así como también algunos animales como vacas, borregos, gallinas, puercos, guajolotes y patos entre otros. Este rancho tiene grandes personas dedicadas a diferentes actividades tales como son músicos, cantantes, futbolistas, charros etc etc. Sus fiestas patronales se llevan acabo los días 24, 25 y 26 de diciembre donde se conmemora el nacimiento del niño jesus y en lo cual durante los tres días hay eventos tales como pastorelas, bailes, charreadas, torneos de fut bol y toros así como eventos únicos como los cantos de la pastorela y bautizos del el tejon y la ardilla.
