Rodrigo quickly identified likely cause was the connector and quoted 650 pesos ($32 US) ... part need not in stock ... but repaired the next day.
In the US I would expect a $50 diagnostic fee plus a repair cost .. if diagnosed properly ... of $100 plus.
I am one very happy customer.
