Residences full of overbearing and incapable administrative, care and security personnel, what they expect is that you pay and shut up, they are not willing to talk to you, they handle the situations of the residents in the worst way and at their convenience. The security personnel are terrible because they hope that nothing will happen on their shift and if something happens it will resolve itself, besides that they stole my clothes. I appreciate that they have spaces like the gym or to socialize and meet people from the university and other places, but again the rules are too strict and ridiculous that they do not allow you to enjoy them to the fullest, the simple fact of putting a soccer ball in the dining room was reason enough to get our attention.

Bad experience, one semester or one year after everyone wants to leave. They charge absurd rates for anything and you cannot claim, they have overbearing and inefficient staff, an absurd administration, absurd rules that don't let you enjoy the facilities, a "cafeteria" that leaves much to be desired. Better look for a house outside or an apartment, it will be a more pleasant experience than living here. (Extra, they wanted to charge more than 4 thousand additional for supposedly "exceeding" us in the light)

The apartments are very small, it seems that you live in a prison, the costs are too high for what they offer, the security guards do not let the food delivery men or the Uber in, it seems that you are interacting with primates, they lack common sense and they can never support you they always make a face at you as if you were disrespecting them and the visiting hours are limited after a certain time and they don't let visitors in and be careful if you bring furniture because the day you try to remove them the security guards won't let you take them until you have an authorization from the lady who manages so that you can take something so absurd out of them because they are goods that are your property they do not have to impose absurd rules on your things and if you have an incident that you have in your department leaks or a leak give you pause and do not solve anything the food is lousy they buy the most common ingredients that may exist they serve you everything raw and without flavor And if you want to use the laundry often, the washing machines break down and it takes months to repair them, and they don't even fumigate this place, it's full of scorpions and tarantulas. If you're afraid of scorpions and tarantulas, don't even joke around here I don't recommend this place

Bad experience, after my 5 semesters of having lived there I decided to move and on the day of my check-out my contract had already ended and I had no debts, even so I was not allowed to take out my things and my mother and I were offended and shout from the new lady who is in charge of managing the residents. I have a very bad taste in my mouth, the guards just wait for nothing to happen on their shift and if something happens they excuse themselves not to solve it, the administrative staff is arrogant with the students, but I was impressed that my mother was also treated in such a way. If you want your son or daughter to have a good experience, this is not the place as they will not be comfortable, and much more importantly, they will not be safe. It is worth mentioning that there is also a lot of lack of control within the facilities, attached photo of a recent fire caused by residents.

ALTANA Student Living: I do not recommend it for absolutely anyone: study, work or come on a trip. They are apartments that are made with the intention of student use for the Anahuac University. Idea that sounds good when you realize that it is ~3min from the University on foot; the execution of this idea is not even close to convenient. Below I leave what I consider to be the most important points that drive my decision: - Management: The management and administration of this departmental cluster is very hostile towards the tenants. Security many times has a very unpleasant attitude towards tenants, although not every time (it depends a lot on the person who is on guard). If you want to put in or take out suitcases or belongings, both the administration and security put many limits on you so as not to enter or leave with belongings in a suitcase, since they treat you as if you were escaping from the place, and literally prohibit you from leaving unless you have a "suitcase pass" or that the security guards check that you have paid your monthly fee, as if one were going to escape without paying every time you take out a suitcase. Invitations in this place is also very strict (an issue that I am not going to fight because, after all, it is a student residence: they separate buildings for women and men). - Amenities: Altana offers (in fact, it only gives you the option) that in what you pay monthly, they offer you meals that you distribute throughout your month; that's 25 meals in a month to be precise. It is not the best of all, although the option is not bad. My only complaint with this is that this option is mandatory (as I previously mentioned) within your monthly payment: if you do not want meals and save that money, you do not have the option of not-opting for meals, it is included yes or yes. - Conclusion: The treatment in general is not the friendliest. As a tenant (who pays for his space in this residence) one would believe that he deserves to be treated kindly by the staff that manages the place; unfortunately the deal is more like they want you to stop renting here. As other comments mention, it seems that you are in a prison in here. They are not well organized in here: administration, surveillance and in some cases the AirB&B rents do things that do not coincide with what one expects and ends up affected. For my part and as an honest opinion, due to the size of the apartments and rooms, the treatment one receives, and the price they charge, it is not convenient for you to look for a space here. It's that simple. You would be saving yourself many complaints, frustrations and anger that are not worth it.
