★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guac was excellent. They made us aguachiles which was off the menu but also awesome. The grilled shrimp was superb. Honest service but a bit haphazard so one can expect inconsistency. Deserves 4+ stars but I have to give it 5 to get the ratings up!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our third visit here on our vacation, second time for dinner. 1st time was for breakfast and was good. Second time was for dinner. I had the ribs and she had the shrimp. Ribs were to die for! Shrimp was great, although a little overcooked.
Tonight she got shrimp and ribs. Both excellent, although vegetables could be cooked longer. I had the rib eye steak and asked for medium rare. It was served blue and the waiter did not come back to check on us. The waitress came to see us long after our food was well on it's way to being finished.
Overall great restaurant, spoiled by bad service and poor cooking of a decent steak. Worth it for the ribs though! Just cannot recommend the steak and be prepared for bad service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. Come for a few beers, or food. The owner is very personable, talks to every guest. Almost all the food is cooked on a wood fired grill infront of the restaurant. Be warned though, you will smell like a campfire after. You can watch most (possibly all) Canadian hockey games here. We were lucky enough to have some live music while we ate 1 day.

The food was really delicious and the way you can watch your ribs on the grill to get ready is great.
The waiters are really friendly here and we really enjoyed our evening at Alebrijes
