★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for lunch while we were on an excursion. The chips and Pico de Gallo were incredible! Chicken quesadilla and chicken fajitas were really good too. Neat little place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked the atmosphere and the homie vibe it has. Just a heads up they only take cash. The food was not what I thought it would be from reading the reviews. The guacamole tasted like it’s been sitting for a bit, a little on the brown side. The rice was undercooked and broken up, the flank steak tacos had no flank stake (some cheap cut butchered into small pieces), salsa was bland. Saving grace was the garlic fish fillet we ordered. It was good but nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to have an authentic experience of Mexico, cross over to Pueblo Akumal , walk around the town and dont miss dining here! Just The hospitality , kindness and FOOD was most excellent! Baltazar and Manuel were our waiter and chef and went above and beyond to make our meal and experience personalized. Excellent prices and 5 star experience all around! Im dreaming of the Octopus dish with garlic! Best Octopus ever! Miss you and cant wait to return.

The flank steak tacos were super weird and not flank steak that I’m used to. Also had tomatoes and lettuce..
guacamole was very limey.
Rice was crumbly.
Only thing we enjoyed was the fish fillet with garlic.
