The ceviche fell short (lacked flavor) and the fried fish was salty. There are a lot more places close by that are much better for fresh food. Cost though was reasonable.

Not knowing the restaurant hours, we asked if they were open for dinner. They said yes but served the WORST food and rushed us out the door. The octopus was unevenly cooked, the shrimp burger lacked shrimp and the french fries were hard. Second time there as we wanted to give them a second chance. Don't go.

I would say an average restaurant. Staff are very good but food was not so well. For example the grilled tuna was very dry and almost like rubber. Additionally its price are not so budgetary in relation to its location. I would understand the high price if it was in Hotels zone. However the internal design and see view was great.

This place is a rip off if your a tourist! Our waiter thought we were made of money! Our giant drinks were tiny and I don’t think there was any alcohol in them! But we were charged a giant price! We paid in pesos, if not they really rip you off!! Our waiter was trying to ask us back for a lobster dinner, he said it would be a bargain for 2500$ pesos that’s $125.00 U.S. He offered butter with it??!!! I would not recommend this place. However the view was nice.

Mandinga is a one-of-a-kind restaurant. In Cancun restaurants come and go with the seasons. Mandinga has weather the test of time with some of the best seafood in the city. Try Cazuela de Mariscos, Pulpo en su tinta, or Hueva de Lisa for a real treat. I highly recommend the place, it's right by the water with great music and ambiance.

A little mix of review. Wife loved it and i kinda did. Horchata very watered down. So pass on that one. Had ceviche ( not picture) it needed some flavor. And check the time they close. Friday night 7pm!!!
