B	Bruce Livingston on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Olga's Restaurant is a lovely, family-run gem in a true Mexican neighbourhood. My wife and I enjoyed several dinners there, this year, and introduced several friends to thia special place. Located 3 blocks in from the Zihuatanejo Bomberos Station (Firehall), Olga's is well worth finding! Olga and her mother prepare the meals, following Olga's outstanding cocktails. Daughters Lesley and Ashley work the service end, with charm and grace! My favorite meal is the Bar-B -Q Ribs - "fall off the bone", with Olga's Special Family Sauce. My wife loves the "seared to perfection" Tuna Steak. We always try to leave room to share a dessert. our favorite: Bananas Flame. We look forward to our return to Zihuatenejo next year, and more wonderful meals at Olga's!

We both had tuna steaks (supposed to be the best). Big pieces (two each), all overcooked, while veggies - undercooked, no, not al dente. I don't think that the beans were cooked at all. Mind you, some veggies were supposed to be raw, but raw veggies always make me think - how were they washed??? My mango margarita had hardly any flavour or alcohol. It was served in a short glass, with a very short straw. Following the dinner my husband woke up shivering and had a fever, nausea, etc. the following day. Even if he got a bug somewhere else, our experience at this restaurant was not very good.

Pork chops, ribs tuna and Dorado. Her prices are very reasonable and the service is very friendly. I like the neighbourhood. It is a bit out of the way but worth the walk.
