11/10!!! Casa Sofia is an exceptional place with a delicious food, excellent service, and beautiful interior! The staff made us feel welcomed and the food blew our minds! Definitely will be a frequent guest here!

Nice Restaurant …we arrived ten minutes after ten and the staff was very kind and they accept to open the kitchen and serve us… we ordered the salmon the skirt steak, the Mediterranean salmon, the jumbo shrimps and the prosciutto and funghi pizza, it was all very good! The Staff was friendly and the ambiance was very pleasant ….

I had a fantastic dinner in every way. The place is very neat and cozy. The food is great, as a starter i had the tuna and it was the best I had in years. All dishes are made with love. I took the pasta with lobster as a main course, wich was very tasty. All generous portions for a good price. Waiters are very nice and professional. Also nice live music. I definetly recommend this restaurant!

Great value for what you get. This was a Friday night at 6:30 with a few patrons and our service was exceptional. Very friendly waiter and bus staff. My girlfriend had the Penne Bolognese. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was thick and flavourful. I had the Milanesa Napolitana (chicken parm). Mashed potatoes were fluffy and a warm hug of flavour. The chicken was a little dry as it was very thin so I would assume hard to cook perfectly. It could have had a little more sauce to compensate but overall I was satisfied mixing it with the potatoes. For desert we had the brownie with ice cream; I’m not sure if the ice cream is made in house, but it is more ice than cream. They could not offer one drink or a desert because they were out of ingredients. Mojitos were perfect. Fantastic presentation!

This was our favourite restaurant in tulum and came here a couple of times during our week here. We stayed on avenue coba and came across this beautiful Italian restaurant with great ambience. Prices are very fair and they have a good selection of wines. I would recommend Fritto del mare, tuna tartare and lasagnes. Staff are friendly and attentive.

After being disappointed that the restaurant was closed on our first night in Tulum (a Friday, so this seems odd), we had an absolutely delicous meal at Casa Sofia the next day. The decor is amazing, with the roots of a tree covering the majority of the ceiling, and an excellent musical duo providing a pleasant soundtrack. My wife had a spectacular, beautifully-cooked pizza from the extensive menu, and I chose a pasta dish. I loved that you can choose your own combination of pasta base and sauce. Delicious flavours, with great service. We would heartily recommend Casa Sofia if you are in town.

I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you're in Tulum! The food is phenomenal and more than reasonably priced! We have come here 3 of the 7 days of our vacation because we were absolutely blown away the first time! Definitely check it out and request Carlos! He will take the best care of you!

It's rare for us to travel and find a local restaurant that looks like it could be a hidden gem, even though it's very visible. But were we surprised. The exterior decor and after sunset ambience was great. They have nice and attentive staff. The food was so surprisingly good and the flavors were full, unique, and properly salted, that is too say it's not overly done. Our first visit was all about seafood, but I expect before our trip is over we'll be coming back for the meat items in the menu. Definitely recommended. They also have an incredibly Italian pizza oven. The most shocking part was how affordable it was compared to the other places.
