★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a tour through Ria Maya and our guide Carlos was fantastic. He slowed down to describe all the variety of birds and what they eat. We saw a crocodile up close and personal. Carlos was great at offering to take pictures and answer any questions we had. Even with spotty showers which made it chilly, the experience was wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the two hour tour with Carlos. He was awesome and made the experience great. His English was good and he took the time to explain what to look for and went back if he saw something. The tour was more expensive than we expected 1,800 pesos but that was per boat so if you had a group it wouldn't be as bad. They also had enough space for us to park which was nice. Didn't try the food but it smelled good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a wonderful experience! The boat tour was awesome and the guide took us to all the right places for the best pictures of the wildlife. We saw cranes, pelicans, seagulls, crocodiles and flamingos! The food was delicious at the restaurant!
