Complementary nutty sweet loaf/cake that was like buttery heaven with the coffee
Quesabirria - moist flavorful meat, fresh taco, flavorful beef/bean/lime soup perfect for dipping.
Motuleños eggs - perfect tortilla shell, mole bean sauce, and egg dish. Looks heavy but perfect for breakfast to get you through the day to supper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I left the island 2.5 weeks and I totally woke up and remembered I forgot to leave these amazing people a review. We were driving our cart down the island and I said I wanted to find a “hole in the wall” without searching on Google first.
We saw a sandwich board for “$1 tacos” so we had to stop. We get in there and we ended up getting Los Gordo tacos instead, these are hands down some of the best tacos I’ve ever had.
Our amazing server (I wish I could remember his name) told us to come back the following day for Birria tacos they had been preparing for 17 hours in a banana leaf. We had to come back.
I had the best tacos of my life with the best homemade coffee of my life at 9:06 am ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars isn't the right rating. It needs six. After two weeks in Cancun, this was the best meal we ate. It was so good. The staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions. The food was cooked perfectly and they give you very generous servings. So make sure you arrive extra hungry. My wife had the Los gordios tacos. Two people could have easily split them. I had a fish burger, with shrimp on top. I didn't see it on the menu, but the waiter recommended it. Sooooo good. Check them out. It was so amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another tourist recommended this restaurant to me. Why did I wait?? Such cute decor and seating!! The food was great and the coffee!!!! I had chicken enchiladas with salsa verde. And BONUS, they gift you a piece of banana bread while you wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants on the island! This is probably the best shrimp I’ve had in my life! The team helped us with our dietary restrictions and went above and beyond to provide an excellent service! Definitely worth it and will definitely come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place! Stopped by for lunch with friends and couldn’t have had a better experience. Dessert bread to start was delicious. Then had recommended Los Gordos with shrimp. The flavoring on the shrimp was some of the best. This restaurant is family owned and you can tell they have a passion for the food and experience. Would highly recommend and hope to eat here again during my stay.
