A consecuencia del sismo del año 2017 sufrió algunos deterioros, pero ya está en remodelación, tal vez este año estará listo para que se abra de nuevo al público.
One of the oldest churches I have visited, it also has some very well done and well preserved murals of the creation of the earth. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un pueblo del Estado de México a nada de Tenango del Valle muy conocido por sus ricas piñatas preparadas. El pueblo es un lugar bastante tranquilo sin ruidos ideal para descansar un fin de semana alejado de la ciudad y todo el ajetreo que se vive. Uno de sus principales atractivos es su iglesia la cual tiene grandes murales en su interior los cuales le dan una hermosa vista y desde mi punto yo de vista es la Iglesia mejor adornada y más bonita que he visto. En las fiestas patronales la de mayor auge es la celebrada en el mes de agosto aproximadamente el 24 se deja pasar o se adelanta según caiga el día. Así como su ya muy famosa feria del pan que se celebra ochos días antes de la feria de agosto donde salen muchísimos carros alegóricos y al final hay una lluvia de pan en el atrio de la iglesia. Es muy recomendable ir en esas fechas.
A town in the State of Mexico, not far from Tenango del Valle, well known for its delicious prepared piñatas. The town is a fairly quiet place without noise, ideal to rest for a weekend away from the city and all the hustle and bustle that is experienced. One of its main attractions is its church which has large murals inside which give it a beautiful view and from my point of view it is the best decorated and most beautiful church I have ever seen. In the patron saint festivities, the one with the greatest boom is the one celebrated in the month of August, approximately on the 24th, it is allowed to pass or is advanced depending on the day. As well as its already very famous bread fair that is celebrated eight days before the August fair where many allegorical cars come out and at the end there is a rain of bread in the atrium of the church. It is highly recommended to go on those dates.
