disgusting. They promised to give a big scooter, but gave a small one. then he also demanded money for the fact that we asked for a scooter for another 1 hour. The owner demanded money for the day. wanted to call the police.

Best scooter rent all around! Best prices, best service love you guys thanks for the experience will come back when in mexico! You should add some moto cross bikes :)

Renting a scooter with Scootermax was easy and he delivered the scooter fast to our hotel. He was honest and gave us some tips how to drive Safe in Cancun. We didn’t have any problems and totally recommend Scootermex.

These guys were great. Very responsive. We originally rented a scooter from a place called Scooter Rental Max out of Playa which appeared, on Google, to be in the town of Akumel where we were staying. That guy “they have locations all over” so being new to the area we thought -OK. The scooter was delivered and it didn’t have a license plate. The owner of the vacation rental we rented told us that we would most likely get pulled over and fined for not having a plate and that she’s seen it done (she’s a 20 year resident). So we rejected the scooter and I went on the hunt for a new place. Scooter Mex is a legit operation. The funny thing is that the bad place was called “Scooter Rental Max” so I believe they are playing off the Scooter Mex name and reputation but are not reputable. In fact I received non-stop threatening texts from the Max guy after rejecting the scooter. I even offered to pay for the day and delivery but that wasn’t good enough. Back to Scooter Mex - they have license plates and even offer a license to carry with you if you do get pulled over. Helmets looked new and the bike worked great. They arrived on time, picked the scooter up on time and communicated throughout the process. Be careful who you rent from, I would recommend these guys all day long. Stay away from Scooter Rental Max - just my advice.

Quality service, good value for this money, all was ok. The scooter was new, helmets were also new and clean. We rode a scooter from Tulum to Cancun without any problems. Recommend!

Everything was just perfect. Rented the scooter for a week then extended it for an other week. Communication was smooth, the scooter was not just in a great shape it was almost new. The helmets were nice and clean. Sergio the delivery guy is friendly and a good person. Top notch. I can just recommend ScooterMex.
