Worst customer service I have ever received from a bank. If you want to spend hours in line before receiving the most incompetent service then this is the bank for you! Before when Olga and Patricia was working here at least you could get stuff done and you could feel they cared about their customers but now its absolutely horrible. The new manager Manuel is completely useless and takes no responsibility what so ever. Scotiabank, you suck!

I am a Scotiabank customer from Canada. I wanted to simply exchange $100 CAN to USA$. What an ordeal. I may as well have been an Alien from another planet. Zero customer service. Nobody speaks English. The staff was rude and condescending. Their computers dont read your chip cards for Scotia ID. You must have a passport for ID. Longer story short, I had to go to a money exchange on 5th Ave across from the mall. They gave me a BETTER exchange rate than what the bank was offering. THE END

I used their ATM for a cash withdrawal transaction. The transaction process followed through normally in every way, except the cash door didn't open at the end. The computer screen didn't register anything unusual, just the usual 'thanks for banking with us' or similar. I figured there wasn't enough cash in the machine and it would have just cancelled the transaction without notifying me, but checked my bank account and the money was deducted. My bank in the US investigated and said it was a valid ATM transaction so they wouldn't cover my lost funds. Don't go near a Scotiabank ATM unless you want to lose your money.

Do not withdraw cash here. The ATM gave a failed transaction notice, and then the bank proceeded to request the money from my bank like nothing happened. And now of course I can't prove anything as it appears as a valid PIN transaction

It is by FAR the worst service I ever had. Employees honestly doesn't care anymore, they know the reputation they have and they abdicted. We are talking about a bank, where you'll deposit you're money and manage your assets not the taqueria at the corner...

Why they ask for 1,50$ for a insurance of the money? 5,00$ (100pesos) to get money. Another banks just 32,50 and here 100

This is my bank and I have an account with them but they always ask me for copies of my passport even though they know me and already have copies of it. Expect to wait in line 40 minutes for simple transactions, sometimes the ATM doesnt even work. I would give them 0 stars if I could I waited 6 weeks trying to open a business account had to change banks worst customer service in the world....

Went here thinking I'd have a better experience than local banks because of the name affiliation with Canada...but that's all they have. They operate independently and have a filthy surcharge for cash withdrawals. Keep looking. Or just accept defeat and take money out on 5th or any bank machine for that matter. You'll get hosed almost everywhere.
