- 1st car they gave me had a broken door and trunk (lock was drilled out) - cheating on the insurance part. They charged me extra 250$ for an insurance which was already included (3rd party liability which was inclided from rentalcars.com) . - As the charge excess it takes extremly long if you have someone in front of you. Tipically over 1 hour.

Fair prices, no hidden costs, competent and friendly service. There is a small store directly at the airport for the first contact. There you are picked up and brought to the place, where they have the office and the cars. 15minutes for the paperwork and let's go!!! Recommendable!!!! ???

Wish I have read commente before I went to rent a car. They are thieves. They take money on your deposit for no reason... And you can't do nothing about it. Plus they provide a bad service. AVOID RENT A CAR THERE

I had booked with "Easy Way" but upon calling them the day I was to land in Cancun, I found out they had hidden fees for drop off in Merida and was going to charge me a lot more than their online invoice. Decided to talk with a couple of airport rental agencies upon landing in Cancun. Really glad I found Carflex. The employee who helped me was kind, approachable, and not pushy unlike most of the agencies who had people yelling at us to come to their counters. After talking a while and trying to get an affordable car (if you can drive manual transmission, that is probably a cheaper option) that would fit the 4 of us comfortably, they shuttled us about 5 minutes to their lot. Everything was a smooth process, we got our car and we were on our way. Equally, drop off process in Merida was smooth as well. It's been a month now and I got charged the fee they said I would be charged. No hidden fees, no mysterious damage or insurance fees, very happy customer and would rent from them again! Fyi, their little office is actually located where you exit the doors where all the other car rental counters are. They are located on the outside of the building, so skip all the other rental agencies, step outside, and you'll find Carflex. My Nissan Versa was in excellent shape and had no problems driving it.

SCAM! They charged us 35% extra cost 2 days after we returned the car. Apparently they target precisely tourists. Their offer seems cheaper online compare to their competitors, but once you are gone, they take money from your credit card with no reasons. AVOID THEIR SERVICES

Had a great experience with Carflex. Arrived at night and to my surprise, there was no ado bus going at night anymore. Inside the driving companies asked for 70 dollars. I left the building and found this little cabin. They charged 500 pesos with all Insurance for 24h. Perfect to drive to playa del Carmen. There they have another office. The car was new and everything was working fabulous.

I have rented cars for over 20 years now and have never been charged for 'damage' to a vehicle. Company tried to claim a dent on the door (which even when pointed out I could barely see) was new and charged $250 to repair it. I will put the claim through my insurance, but it has definitely caused an unnecessary hassle. Be very cautious when you rent a car here and make sure to very throughly inspect the car upon checkout and take pictures of ANY scratch, ding, or anything else that may be construed as "damage". On the bright side the guys working the counter are very friendly, and the shuttle was quick. Wait time was average for a rental car company.

SCAM - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! On arriving at Car Flex I had the hire car details, including insurance, explained and then provided the required documents and filled out the required paperwork. I then provided a credit card on which $1200 was held for any issues. Once everything had been completed, the Car Flex employee then asked if I wanted additional personal liability insurance at a extortionate additional cost of $165. I explained that I did not require this as it was covered both in my booking with Rentalcars and also on my personal travel insurance. The employee then stated that he would not provide me with a vehicle unless I purchased the additional insurance and cancelled the booking. Absolute scam which they tried to slip under our noses and pressure sell at the last minute. My partner and I were subsequently left stranded in a foreign country and had to spend the next two hours trying to source another hire car. This company should not be allowed to operate.
