Scuba XOC Dive Center - 77675 San Miguel de Cozumel

My friend and I did the scuba certification course at Scuba XOC. Carlos and the team were wonderful and a great pleasure to be with! Carlos is a knowledgable and skilled instructor, was attentive to each dive learner, and was very patient allowing us enough time to work through the exercises at our own pace. There was good attention to safety with limited number of learners on the boat. The marine life on the dives was wonderful! Absolutely enjoyable experience! Big thanks to the ScubaXOC team for our amazing time in Cozumel!

We came to Scubaxoc based on a referral. From my first contact with Carlos, I knew we were in good hands. We did a scuba refresher with Victor ,since we hadn’t been diving in quite awhile, then did dives at Palancar Reef. Victor was supportive and encouraging, and pointed out a lot of sea life that we may have missed on our own. We had such a great time with the crew that we scheduled another trip with them a few days later. Two more great dives and I’m hooked again. We rented all of our equipment from them and were very pleased with the quality and condition of the gear. The boat was small enough to get a very personalized experience and the service was exceptional. I would not hesitate to refer this company to my friends and family. I finally got Scuba Certified at the age of 55. I can't imagine a better way to do it than with Carlos in Cozumel. As an instructor he was an excellent teacher. Tough but fair. We spent hours one on one going over the lessons to become a competent diver. Not only did I learn a lot but it was a very positive experience that made me want to pursue other scuba adventures throughout the world, And yes, return to Cozumel soon and dive again with Scuba XOC. Thanks also to Divemaster Victor and "The Captain" who piloted the boat, and was always there to help us out of the water. What a great life experience for me. Can't thank Scuba XOC enough for helping my childhood dream become a reality.

It had been 20 years since our last dive, so we needed to work with a dive company that could ease us back into things and Scuba XOC delivered! Our dive master Victor was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job in refreshing our skills and giving us confidence to take the plunge. The boat captain Orlando was both fun and at ease at the helm as well as being very helpful in getting on and off the boat. Carlos helped coordinate all of our dives and equipment rental and was very responsive to emails in getting things set up. Our small fast boat ‘Matilda’ was a dream. And the dive sites were amazing!

The best experience and memory from a trip to Mexico! Me and two of my friends decided to try scuba diving for the first time and we were lucky choosing Scuba XOC, the crew was amazing, top notch gear, amazing experience and overall vibe of the trip. Our instructors Carlos and Alan, are very knowledgeable persons, with great patience and lots of sense of humor, along with captain Orlando who takes care about your boat and vibe on it Not only you enjoy diving itself, but also overall time spent with those guys. When I go to Mexico once again, scuba diving with Scuba XOC will be the first thing on my to-do list. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I got scuba certified the day before doing a 2-tank dive with ScubaXoc and they surpassed our expectations! Being new to scuba, I was a bit nervous to do my 2-tank dive but Carlos and Jaqui were so helpful and assuring. They asked what we wanted to see and took us to reefs where we were most likely to see those animals. We went to Santa Rosa Wall (SO COOL!!!) and Paradise Reef (also amazing). Jaqui led us through both and stopped to show us hidden marine life that we would have otherwise missed. My favorite was the Splendid Toadfish, who was hiding in a little crevice. Jaqui immediately noticed him and stopped to show us. We also saw a turtle, stingrays, lobsters, crabs, triggerfish, trunkfish, parrotfish, and so much more! I am so grateful to have done my first "fun" dives with ScubaXoc and highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about ScubaXoc! From the planning through emails with rapid and helpful replies from Carlos (owner), everything went perfect. Captain Orlando, Victor and Jackie (DMs) can become your fast friends. I did three day dives and one night dive and my only regret is not have planned more diving days with them. The boat rides are so smooth and they only carry a max of 5-6 people at a time. I usually get motion sickness when I go diving in others places and this was the first time that it didn’t happen :)) I saw so many beautiful things; from the colorful gigantic corals to huge marine turtles, lobsters, sharks, spotted rays, blowfish, eels, and the stars of the night dive: king crabs and a sensational light blue octopus! I was so in love with these waters that I ended up staying one more day so to add two more dives! Thank you all so much for making my Cozumel vacation an unforgettable one; I’ll be sure to come back soon! Carlos, thank you for all the morning expressos!
