★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went out this past Saturday and had an absolute blast. Would highly recommend these folks. We had a great day out on the water spearfishing a few unique spots and then headed to a beach where Matias and Santiago made us a fantastic ceviche. Santiago is also an incredible photographer and was able to send us dozens of shots from the day by later that afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having ZERO experience spear fishing, I booked a half day excursion for my boyfriend and I. Let me tell you, I can't wait to book with these guys again. We had an INCREDIBLE day. They were patient, attentive, really fun and just all around great team. They are a small crew but very detail oriented and professional from beginning to end. After being in the water for half the day, we went to a beautiful little beach area where Matias grilled up the days haul (3 different types of fish). Between the ceviche and the grilled fish it easily fed us and their team of four with plenty left over. The food was amazing and we couldn't have been more happy with how we spent our day. I will absolutely be booking them again and cannot encourage people enough to hire them for your next trip. So worth it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My bro and I had the time of our lives! We were put onto a ton of fish and made memories to last a lifetime. Despite adverse weather conditions, our guides made the most of it and we lacked nothing.Can't wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an unforgettable experience with Mati and Santi. It was my first time spearfishing so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Mati and Santi are absolute pros. Watching them underwater guiding is a show in itself with their command of the ocean, the spearguns, and the camera. They laid out the safety protocols for the spearguns, the diving plan, and picked out amazing spots with the help of el capitan. Even if we hadn't speared a single fish, the freediving in the ocean and reefs around Playa is worth the trip. But we did! Our group came back with HorseEyed Jacks, Strawberry Grouper, Lionfish, Squirrel fish and a few others! On top of the amazing diving and spearfishing, Santi has an eye for underwater photography and includes an awesome set of shots documenting the whole experience in your package. There's more? Yup, afterwards they whip up some delicious sashimi and ceviche as you drink some beers and reminisce the fish you caught and the big ones that just got away! You won't regret booking with Mati and Santi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learning to spearfish with Matias and Santiago was awesome. They were great guides and teachers, as well as super fun people to spend our morning with. Neither my husband or I had spearfished before, and these guys were so patient and gave very clear instruction. They kept us safe and made our experience super enjoyable. My husband was a natural, diving deep, and caught 5 fish in the first few hours. I, on the other hand, was not a natural and mostly practiced diving and enjoyed snorkeling alongside them. I tried a few times to spear fish and was unsuccessful, but still had a great time. The key is to always remain relaxed. I am inspired to practice freediving breathwork in order to get better at it so I can be more relaxed and successful next time! After we returned to the beach, the guys made ceviche with the catch, it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely return to spearfish with Mati and Santi again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolute highlight of our trip to Mexico! Mattias was such an amazing guide and taught the four of us to spearfish for the first time. We each successfully caught a fish and had an absolute blast! The ceviche made from the fish we caught was delicious. Pedro the photographer was also amazing. He was diving down with us and getting all the best angles so we could just enjoy the experience. 10/10 we will definitely be coming back to Mexico even if just to spearfish with Mattias.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unforgettable experience, and a must try for anyone in the Playa area! Matias and Pedro were incredible instructors, and I was able to spear a fish with zero previous experience. This was also my first time doing any sort of free diving, which complicated things - however, Matias was extremely patient and would point out easier targets for me. Everyone in my group left with at least one fish! On top of that, the trip came with professional quality photos and the best ceviche in the world.
