★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Como turista y viajero frecuente me encuentro decepcionado con el estado en que encuentran los museos y parques asi como el deterioro de los edificios aledaños al parque el llano.
 As a tourist and frequent traveler I find myself disappointed with the state in which the museums and parks are located, as well as the deterioration of the buildings surrounding the plain park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estuvimos en Montalbán y lamemtablemente tuvimos una experiencia muy triste que queremos denunciar. Fue con sr. Netzahualcoyotl es un señor mayor que tiene un carnet de guia ( que según entiendo esta institución legimita) y en lugar de brindar información y hacer honor al sitio arqueológico se limita a hacer chistes mostrarse burlón y hasta irreapetuoso. Cobra 100 pesos a cada persona ( esto lo negó públicamente a la salida del parque diciendo que no le habiamos pagado y que además el cobra 60 por lo cual entendemos que sus colegas desconocen la situación). Es una pena que el turismo nacional e interacional se lleve esta imagen de Montalbán.
Por otro lado comentar también que es la única experiencia mala que nos llevamos de este estado, las personas de información turistica han sido muy amables y claras y ni que hablar de la calidez y generosidad de su gente. Gracias!
We were in Montalbán and we had a very sad experience that we want to denounce. It was with sr. Netzahualcoyotl is an elderly man who has a guide card (which I understand this institution as a legimit) and instead of providing information and honoring the archeological site he limits himself to making jokes, showing himself mocking and even disrespectful. He charges 100 pesos to each person (this he publicly denied when leaving the park saying that we had not paid him and that he also charges 60 for which we understand that his colleagues are unaware of the situation). It is a pity that national and international tourism take this image of Montalbán.
On the other hand comment that it is the only bad experience that we take from this state, the people of tourist information have been very kind and clear and not to mention the warmth and generosity of its people. Thank you!

My wife and I are tourists from Albuquerque in the United States and we have been on vacation in Oaxaca for the past 2 weeks.
We have been very impressed with the health measures in place to protect the local population and visitors. Compliance with mask wearing is high and everyone is taking the measures seriously.
Unless, that is, you look at tourists. Many seem to think the rules don't seem to apply to them. Although my wife and I waited to get our vaccine before traveling, I doubt this is the case with other tourists. We continue to wear our masks all the time.
Perhaps the recorded message playing from the police truck on the zocalo should also be in English. The police could approach tourists to remind them to wear a mask instead of sitting in the truck with the windows closed.
