Positive: Ci siamo fermati qui perché è il posto più vicino alla strada che porta a Calakmul e volevamo arrivarci per primi la mattina. La struttura è composta di varie casette circolari in muratura con il tetto di bambù e foglie di palma (credo), ma comunque vegetazione. La casetta è molto ampia, anche il bagno è grande. I letti hanno le zanzariere, ma non tutti, e comunque le zanzariere presenti sono un po' malridotte e non si rimboccano bene sotto il letto. Fatevi i vostri conti se avete problemi con insetti o altri animaletti (io avevo una zanzariera mia), perché siete in mezzo alla natura e può entrare di tutto. Noi abbiamo avuto un incontro ravvicinato con un ragno di 7-8 cm al risveglio, ma durante la notte sentivo svolazzare insetti. Lo staff comunque gentile e la cena buona ed economica.. Negazione: Le zanzariere dovrebbero assicurare un migliore isolamento da insetti e animali vari, invece non restano rimboccate sotto il materasso e comunque hanno dei buchi. Così sono quasi inutili. Il prezzo decisamente alto per la qualità e la media del Messico..

Hospedaje en cabañas a poca distancia de Calakmul, en el poblado de Conhuas; servicio de restaurante con menú sencillo, internet

El lugar es buena opción para hospedarse cerca y visitar por la mañana las ruinas de Calakmul y el sitio arqueológico de Balamkum. Son cabañas amplias, como el área es selvática son comunes los insectos, lo cual se soluciona con repelente. Los ventiladores no funcionan, pero por las noches llueve y esta agradable la temperatura.

Perfect place for the night before early morning drive to the Calkmul. Not too many mosquitos and fairly quiet in the night

Positive: The closeness to Calakmul is perfect and I liked the small village. There is a really great artesanis / artist in the village that you should absolutely visit, Casa Jaguar! A 5 minute walk from Garra de Jaguar - it's a "Jewel in the Jungle" for sure. And of course Calakmul is outstanding!. Negative: The shower never got warm which is quite okay with the high temperatures but in relation to that the price of the room is a bit high. Due to Calakmul I guess....

The cabañas are $900pesos. The restaurant is good and has lots to choose from. They also accept campers to park on their property for free as long as you eat in the restaurant. They provide bathrooms and WiFi. However, the wifi is very very slow at night.

Positive: Very close to Calakmul, so that's a big plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful.. Negative: Although the cabin was OK, in the end we had the feeling that it was too expensive for what is being offered. This was one of the more expensive accommodations we stayed in during our trip through Yucatán, but one of the most basic ones..

There was no hot water at all but it’s a nice and clean place.
