Just came back from a family vacation in Guadalajara. We’ve rented a car from Sixt. I booked it online 6 days in advance. Also reserved 2 toddler car seats. Received a reminder from them 1 day before the trip, also emailed to confirm our kids seats and received an immediate reply back. They met us at the airport, it was only us so no waiting time at all. Very nice and friendly. Car was almost new, clean. Car seats were not - but I didn’t expect them to be perfect. They were ok for a 5 day trip. If you have high expectations I strongly advise bring your own. We used our credit card insurance. So had to leave $1,5k deposit. Was returned at the arrival. We had a great experience with them. Thank you, Sixt! I recommend :)

Made reservation over the net, decided to rent car for longer period than anticipated. Excellent customer service and best pricing I could find near Guadalajara's international airport. Ask for David or José Luis, they will take care of your car rental needs.

Be careful. Scam alert! They wanted $1000 dollars deducted from your card immediately pre paid for guaranteed after I prepaid the car and full coverage insurance.

I made a reservation and received instructions that someone from sixt was supposed to be waiting outside for me. When I arrived no one was there and they never replied on the phone or over WhatsApp. I had to rent a car with a different company after a couple of hours of waiting. Highly unprofessional. On top of that, they are still charging me full price. Please stay away from this company. They are running a full scale scam here.

I did not know about Sixt until a relative recommended it to me. The arrival in Guadalajara is matched with a person waiting or calling you to check on your status. They are prompt to drive you to the nearby office where the cars are waiting. You get what you order online and are not hassled for additional things that other big named agencies would say are required. Getting in and out is very easy and have not had any problems the last three rentals that lasted weeks.

No cars available after Expedia reserved. Horrible experience just like the others DONT RENT CARS FROM SIXT horrible service I hope that Expedia realy kicks you out of business you did the same thing to 4 other customers in the same day what the hell is wrong with your incompetence as a business I will write to other companies that deal with traveling . You don't deserve to have any ratings. And you leave a victim employee to observe all complaints you coward.

Terrible service, loaned out a car with bubbling on the tires. Drove the car to a different town about 2 hours away and realized the bubbling was present. I notified them what happened and they ended up charging me for the tire even though I had every insurance possible on the car. Those tires were old and should’ve been replaced before the car was loaned out, imagine if they would have burst in the middle of the country or while driving at high speeds? Overall will never rent from them again, poor service and their cars are always poorly maintained. Do yourself a favor and rent from any other company, their stock of cars is much nicer and they won’t try and charge you for a tire that should’ve been replaced to begin with. Edit: November 20, 2020 - sent them an email as requested with the information they asked for and they never got back to me..... That’s the great customer service I was talking about.

We rented a car for 9 days. This is my second time in three years renting from Sixt. David is awesome. He speaks 4 or more languages. He is super friendly and reasonable. Most rental agencies in Mexico pressure you into buying CDW insurance, which doubles your rate. My Visa covers the CDW if I use it to pay and the rental period is not longer than 12 days. It cost me $400 for 9 days which i thought was fair. I will call David directly next time I'm in beautiful Guadalajara to set up my rental from Sixt.
