My boyfriend and I went down to Rocky Point for the first time over the weekend and we were amazed! We stayed in the Sonoran Sun in a one bedroom condo for three days and it felt like home! We were so impressed by the quality of the room, its amenities inside the room such as a washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator, and not to mention the fantastic view of the ocean. After talking to several other quests, the Sonoran Sun is the resort they come to year after year. They even book the same room each time! We will be back for sure!

B	Brian “Sailing an Ericson 34” Litz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to go to Rocky Point all the time, the area has all the bones to be amazing, BUT... staying in a condo has gotten exorbitantly expensive, restaurants are expensive for what you get, and activities are way down from years ago. I will give it another shot as the weather warms, but now I can stay at a beautiful hotel in San Diego for much less money, go to Tijuana which has many amazing restaurants at a better value than Rocky Point and the winery's are amazing.

It's 300.00 above the booking costs. Other than that... exactly what I expected. And once again.. Rocky Point is on Point! My happy place! ?

Two full kitchens made it easy to cook for our entire family that stayed together in the suite for Thanksgiving. The staff was so friendly and kind- especially the convenience shop gal. Convenience store had all the little extras that we needed to cook our meals. The beach was clean. A good variety of critters in the water to see. The tide pools at night were really fun to explore! If you don't have enough hats, smoothies, burritos, and souvenirs, the beach-sellers have plenty that you can buy! The pool was fun. There's a really cold pool, a heated one, a mild hot tub, and a piping hot one- something for everybody. Overall, it was a really great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Pool bar at heated pool from like 11-5 something like that. Has pvt and public beach area next to Banna boats and Jet ski rentals. Restrooms near the pool. All rooms are close to the water and beach. There's a store to buy ice and a little bit of everything. We rented a condo on the fourth floor corner that was spectacular. Shower water was hot and spot was easy to check in. Everyone was kind and I loved that it wasn't overcrowded like other resorts. 10 min drive from downtown rocky point.
C	Christopher DeYoung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to come and get away! They have a wonderful poolside bar. The one pool is heated if you are there during the cooler months like we were. They have a pretty good restaurant on site if you don't want to leave. And they have a little shop for some food and drink if you'd like to stay in your condo. We'll definitely be back soon.
