K	Karyssa Power on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Y'all. Listen. Javier and Román are everything. We feel much more confident in our Spanish thanks to them after only a week of intensive classes. They were very sweet and energetic, making the experience a fun and positive one. They were super accommodating with our dogs, making sure we were in a room that was convenient for the dogs to go out, if they needed, and had a bowl of water waiting for them. Could not recommend this place enough. Just good people. And effective teaching. 10/10

They bring a tremendously high level of professionalism and warmth to everything they do. After a week you will really feel like you great teachers and friends in Guanajuato. I actually met both of them in a sister school in Puerto Vallarta and later followed them to their hometown of Guanajuato. They spent a lot of pandemic down-time painting and updating the school so it looks brand new, and is near the heart of historic Guanajuato. I just wrapped up studies a couple weeks ago, and now plan to return for another 3 weeks with my girlfriend. Learning Spanish has never been so rewarding and fun!

I've studied Spanish all over the world and I will say without hesitation that SEC is the best. Yes, they have all the methodologies to teach second language acquisition but they also have heart. You can't go there and not come away feeling like you just gained a new friend. In fact, I consider Rojelio to be part of my family. We've continued our lessons remotely (which is also a good deal) and we have developed a real friendship. If you're considering going to study Spanish on site- I highly recommend SEC GTO. You won't be disappointed!
