About St. Paul's Church / Iglesia Anglicana de San Pablo
The laity and clergy share leadership in the Anglican / Episcopal Church, with an elected Vestry especially tasked with the oversight of matters temporal.
Nine Vestry members serve St Paul’s, with three members elected at the Annual Meeting of the Parish each year, creating a rotational structure of seasoned experience and apprenticeship. The Senior Warden is appointed by the Rector, and the Junior Warden is elected by the sitting Vestry. A Treasurer and Clerk of Vestry are generally, though not always, part of the sitting Vestry.
The Vestry meets monthly and at other times as may be required to conduct the business of the parish in accordance with Canon Law and Parish By-Laws, working with the Rector to develop and oversee the life and work of the parish. Members serve for a three-year term.
