★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place connected to a grand colonial style hotel in the heart of La Condesa. With beautiful looking Russian women wafting about "Chatting" to very old tourists and local married men. Parked dogs under the tables near their owner's feet. Street hawkers mingling in and out. Scruffy looking baggy pant wearing tattoo bedecked bohemians strune along the walls and interior lounge chairs. A host of very jaded hotel staff puffing furriously nearby every exit. While behind the counter of the Starbucks coffee shop whirled and chuckled delightful toothy beverage pushers...... All of this ambience enclosed behind heavy black ornate wrought iron fence and an overhead sun roof with of seethrough glass etched in black line vine looking motife......A bit of L.A. here in Mexico!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their hours here on Google are not up-to-date. According to Google Maps, they open at 7am, but when I rang the bell (the main door was closed), the hotel reception said they don’t open till 8am. This was a Monday morning, and it looked like they could have been open. The lights were on inside and on the patio, and there was one employee working inside.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I had planned to pick up breakfast to-go here shortly after 7am before meeting to start a tour. We had to go grab breakfast next door since they were closed.
If you’re trying to grab early morning coffee/breakfast and are in a time crunch, go elsewhere. Also, Starbucks, if you’re reading this, please update your hours.
