★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store around 8PM. It seemed like they were closing for the night, although the hours online say 10PM. I ordered two sandwiches. They were out of the bread I wanted and shorted the meat on the first sandwich. I asked for extra chipolte sauce (my girlfriend loves the stuff) on one sandwich and "Alexi," the gentleman behind the counter, pointed his finger at me and said, "no more sauce for you!" in Spanish, with full anger.
My guess is that he didn't want to refill the bottle. Either way, Mexico can be daunting enough. There are plenty of great eats in Playa. I would avoid this one for safety reasons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely located and quiet Subway away from the crowdy 5th ave. Lots of young people eat here but, it is less popular in Playa then in North America. Same great subs like any other Subway restaurants. Up to now, I have not seen soups being offered at this location...too bad ;(
Fresh bread and vegerables every day and very clean, a bathroom is offered inside.
The place is not dog friendly. Service is mainly in Spanish and some employees speak or understand English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I mean it's Subway ??♂️. This one follows expected standards, the staff is friendly and follows safety protocols, the ingredients always look fresh, and the value is good. When one is craving Subway whilst in Mexico, I would recommend.
