Suites La Hacienda - 71983 Puerto Escondido

We had a great time at Suites La Hacienda. The hotel is beautifully decorated and feels so relaxing. The pool area is particularly stunning. Some reviewers have noted that the hotel feels a bit quiet but I think this is a real plus - you can fully relax at the hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly too, thank you Luis and Philippe. Location is excellent - just off the Rinconada strip, where you can find lots of great restaurants and bars (such as the very popular Almoraduz, or Cafecito, which does great lunch and breakfast). This is handy as the hotel does not serve breakfast (one of the hotel’s few downsides). It’s also only about 5 minutes walk from Carazalillo beach.

A tropical garden oasis in Riconada with comfy rooms and absolutely wonderful staff. Luis the manager and his assistant Pablo made sure we were comfortable from the moment we stepped in, and lovely Liliana took care of our room each day. Because the grounds are so comfortable and welcoming, guests tend to gather and socialize near the pool area, which allowed us to make some new friendships. Our room was an upstairs unit that was clean, bright, and breezy. The ceiling fans were enough to keep us cool both day and night, and we never had to use the air conditioning. Internet in the room was sufficient for zoom meetings and general online work but not great. Right next door is the Chill a Kill Cafe, which serves completely amazing and healthy food at great prices. Other restaurants and coffee shops are a few minutes away on foot. There are also several nice beaches within walking distance from the hotel, and Playa Zicatela is just a 10-minute $2.50 taxi ride away.

Super relaxing and tranquil place. Perfect for couples. Nice pool size, friendly staff, god wifi. The decor is beautiful, rooms super spacious. We had the simple room and it was so big and comfortable. There is a mini bar where they make great margaritas. Just so you know, this is not a place for a party! If you are looking for summer party life go to La Punta. Here you can enjoy quite time by the pool with birds singing from the palm tree. Beautifully tended garden is just a plus of all the charm. We loved it!

Love love ? this hidden gem and sanctuary right so peaceful and relaxing right in the center of Puerto Escondido perfect location of restaurants, bars, shops and close by to Beaches. I will come back again you feel at home, the staff is very warm, kind, polite and accommodating and helpful if you want to book excursions. Highly recommend this place to family, friends and anyone that is staying in Puerto Escondido for a few days or longer you will enjoy it ❤️.

Great place to stay in! The swimming Pool is super quiet and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful. Flowers in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend to go here!

Great location, close to the Rinconada. Extremely friendly staff. Small minibar at the front desk was a great touch. Rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place with very kind staff - The pool area is beautiful with all kinds of plants. Our room was super clean and spacious. The area is quiet, with a lot of good restaurants and beaches nearby. Would definitely come back!

If I were 55+ and wanted relaxation and silence I’d give it a 4 star. The hotel is beautiful, clean, neat, full of plants and nice Juliette style balconies. Wood finishing throughout the exterior and interior. Absolutely beautiful. But it felt like I was in a library.. super silent. You almost felt bad making any noise. We didn’t even bother playing our music by the pool. And the owner has a very supervising type of vibe. Also Outside our room there was two elder women reading their books outside a nice water fountain. It just wasn’t for me.
