Suites Obelisk - 11550 Ciudad de México

Very nice place organized and very well located. The people are nice over there

Not a big fan of this hotel. Lots of noises outside, very poor breakfast, mediocre service. Will not stay again.

The Obelisk Suites are more comparable to apartments, than a hotel. My room was at least 800 square feet or larger. Units have bedroom, bath, dining and living rooms, and a kitchen, and are built around short open-air corridors with the elevator in the center. Be aware of the location of the gym because if your room is close, you may be awoken early by gym machine noises. The breakfast is complimentary; local dishes like chilaquiles are on the menu and the coffee is excellent. International travelers should always avoid ingesting any tap water even when showering or brushing teeth. This is not a reflection of the cleanliness of this hotel, which was good in every respect.

Doesn't have air conditioning units on rooms., WiFi is limited, no coffee maker, no fridge, it had a pedestal fan which would not even rotate also the safe was not attached neither wall nor floor so anybody would walk out with it. Exceptional location. I would not recommend it in summer.

Suites Obliesk is a fine establishment. Located in a really nice and very safe part of Mexico City, all of my stays in the future will be here. First class management, worked under very difficult circumstances with Covid 19 and assured my stay was very safe and clean

(noticed that my previous review was mixed up with another place updating my review about Suites Obelisk) Decent location, comfortable rooms. I do not recommend getting breakfast here. In fact, the first time I had breakfast I thought it was a joke. The second time, when more guests were eating, there was more variety but still very underwhelming. Our room was facing a common area with lights that brightened our room even at night. The blinds didn't help make the room completely dark. This might be a problem for some with light sleep. They provide ear plugs which is great. Bed was comfortable and clean. It looks like the shower sliding door was patched by an amateur. You can see the screw through. Not really a problem but a detail. There's a window in the bathroom - you can see a similar window from the room next door. It looks like previous guests used that small section as an ashtray and other trash disposal.

Friendly staff but the room was dated with no air conditioning or fan to circulate the air. The kitchen was noisy, echoing until 11pm. No iron board, hair dryer or safe. Although they offer room service, they had no menu in the room. Great location, good price but think twice before selecting this hotel.

Fantastic apartments that is daily serviced. Spacious with all you need so that it feels like a home from home with a very decently equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge and Room with on suite. Great location in the heart of Polanco, Mexico City, close to most shops and restaurants which are a short walk away. The park is great to walk through or just relax. It really feels like a haven. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. If you need a place in Mexico City then do consider the Suites Obelisk.
