Taboo | Best beach club in tulum - 77780 Tulum

I’m so devastated that I went to Taboo on my last night in Tulum! It was such a vibe, lots of beautiful young people, definitely a party vibe. The staff were amazing! Attentive & welcoming. Grounds are stunning. Went for my birthday dinner and everything was on point! Hookah was lovely to have and enjoy at my table. At one point my sister hit her head on a glass while laughing, and our wonderful waiter Alessandro performed some beachside first aid with a little tequila & a bandaid. Would recommend this place & will be coming back! Also the entertainment is unmatched. A violinist came out and performed an incredible set that had everyone on their feet dancing, smiling and swirling their napkins in the air. Also if you order some kinds of fresh fish on the menu they prepare it right in front of your table and it was a stunning culinary experience to see someone prepare fish like that! Truly amazing!

We has a great time at Taboo! The food was delicious, the music was fire, the hookah was great, and the service was perfect! Erick (our server) was very attentive, sweet, and even hooked us up with a yummy appetizer and shots of tequila. We felt very taken care of. If his manager is reading this, you should give Erick a raise ;) Can’t wait to come back again!

Went to Taboo for a chilled day. They charge a cover to enter the club of around 1000 pesos plus min. Spend 1000 per person. For the day beds. We asked if we could go see what the vibe was like and they said just 1 person from the two us can go. ? It was really quiet so not sure why they need to charge covers and limit who goes to see the beach club to be honest. The pool was really dirty and not cleaned. Service was fine.

I’m not go lie. This place is pricey but definitely a good time. They have A1 service and really good drinks. Our server Victor was great, spoke really clear English and was very attentive. They have battery packs for your phones, strong shots and great hookah. Definitely one of the best spots for a visitor of Tulum…oh and the scenery is gorgeous.

Taboo tulum is a vibe! Their beach party was a lot of fun. Great music, service, food and drinks. It’s a little pricey but expected of Tulum. The music was really good. We went on a Thursday afternoon and the crowd was a lot of fun! Recommend for girls night out, Bach, or even a friends or couples trip!

So, there are two options when you go to Taboo. You can either sit "inside" and not pay a cover fee or you can sit directly outside with a cover. The cover is about $140 per person, however, half of that goes towards food & drink. With being outside you can walk around the club. If you are in a big group or want to dance & party, then I would recommend sitting outside. If your trip was similar to mine (just my boyfriend & I) I would recommend saving the money and sitting "inside." You can still see everything that's happening in the club. Overall, a great time & good food.

We had lunch in Taboo while being in Tulum, it was definitely an amazing luxury experience. This is not your place if you are on a tight budget but if you want to have a great experience being on vacation then this is your place. The vibe is amazing with some great service and upbeat music. You are really treated like you are valued here. They also have live music. Definitely highly recommended if you are in Tulum. Just keep in mind that their portions are huge so keep that in mind while ordering. If you want to be in the beach there is a cover change but if you eat lunch then only a minimum spend.

The vibes were chill and good. All of the food we ordered was also excellent. Food is an eclectic global mix and the wait staff is very attentive and responsive. A few items that we ordered or asked for from the menu weren't available and we just wished we were alerted to that in the beginning. Other than that, we also enjoyed a live violinist. Our reservation was for 8pm on a Saturday night and it was amazing dining seaside in the sand with ocean breeze. However, it's also a weird experience eating in the dark and the group at several times used our flashlights for light to ensure we could see what we were putting into our mouths. The Alchemist cocktail (sweet & delicious & highly recommended)
