Without a doubt my favorite hotel by far! The sushi they have here is on another level. The house drink was also my favourite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To call this place Japanese is a terrible service to the cuisine. ‘Tepinyaki’ had sauces added to it, just a show no real flavours, and a egg fried rice made worse than a local chinese takeaway. Sushi served without soy sauce, but with ginger and wasabi. Udon noodles had your local supermarket sweet chilli sauce added to it. Horrendous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love Japanese cuisine and this one hit the spot! Make sure to make a reservation and come hungry. We had the hibachi dinner and our chef did an outstanding job. The portions were big and the flavors were impressive.
We came hungry and we left happy. Be sure to watch our YouTube adventures by searching The Ecuadorian and The Persian. All love!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is excellent as everything in hotel xcaret arte.
It was not my favorite spot to eat since they had limited options for vegan/vegetarians but definitely is must try in the hotel.
Keep in mind that you need to make a reservation,there are like 2 to 3 different dinning options in the restaurant,we choose the Teppanyaki style.
The service was excellent and the chef even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without question the best salmon and edammae I've ever eaten. The flavors of the soup and deserts blew our minds. They give you "real" Wasabi at this place. Also get their signature drink. With the bourbon it's just like a desert drink.
