★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whilst many tourists would not venture in here, because it is simple and down-to-earth, if you want good food at a price the Mexicans pay, then give it a try. Thanks to other reviews, we went for the shrimp tacos and it was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our guide brought us to Taqueria Chucky as part of our tour. We had 4 Grande Platters and that was plenty for 9 people. The platters had chicken pork beef & shrimp. There was rice & Cole slaw & some veggies like tomatoes. We also had some sodas & I'm certain there was beer.
They don't speak English & the dollar to pesos exchange was not good there so be ready with pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jano from Akumal Natura Glamping recommended this restaurant to me. I had a torta con bistec and it as delicious. The bread was so fresh and the steak was juicy and flavorful. All the toppings made it even better. I also had the famous Mexican Coca Cola in the glass bottle.
