★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dear Gawd! This place is stunning! Walk away from your bland resort food and order EVERYTHING from El Pique! This is legit Mexican street food in a wonderfully neighborhood restaurant. The spice and flavors are perfectly on point. I can’t say this strong enough, THIS IS THE VERY BEST RESTAURANT IN COZUMEL. Go!!!! Be sure and order the CHULETA & PASTOR tacos. Sweet Jesus! I will think about this place for the rest of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to take a ferry from Carmen to Cozumel, in order to try these delicious tacos. I've been here twice with in my 9 day stay(day 5) It is worth It! It's authentic! The customer service is great. It's a little hole in the wall, with outdoor seating. Besides the toilet not flushing all the time, I have nothing bad to say. If I ever come back to Mexico, I will for sure be paying a visit to El Pique! Thank you Francisco for you Mexican hopisitalty lol, you are awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is wonderful! The staff are so kind and warm and the food is simple yet delicious. Definitely recommend if you're able to eat there. We went back for more many times as it's the best place whether you want a small bite to eat or a large meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One thing I've learned traveling - if you see a line of locals waiting for the food - that is definitely the place to go. The pastor tacos (cooked on a large vertical spit) were absolutely delicious. Hands down the best tacos we had in Cozumel. Friendly servers and quaint atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally engaged staff, an open air taco shop with perfect, huge tacos: lengua, surtido, tripita frita, amazing sauces in bags and an awesomely hot seared jalapeno. We walked 15 blocks hopelessly looking for lengua and stumbled on this shop en route to our hotel. From SoCal and I'd never even heard of surtido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd driven past this spot on multiple occasions during my visits to Cozumel but was not inspired to stop until a chance conversation. Rene, a local recommended El Pique as one of his favorites and spoke highly of the soupas. The Consumae he said was made from the head of the pig and was so delicious. Additionally, the bean soups were also very good. It was not hard to locate as I was familiar with the location. I arrived just before they opened at 6pm but they allowed me to enter and have a seat. I strapped in my seat and prepared to take an amazing ride to Taco Town via culinary experience. I made a pig of myself, no offense to the pigs. I had the Chuletas (porkchop) and frijoles soupa. How delicious they were and so much to eat. The food was served with a saucer of diced onion, cilantro, lime and spices. El Pique is a must do when in Cozumel. The food is not expensive but oh so good. The staff is friendly and customer oriented.
