The Campeche style were our favourites. Impressed they also had suadero; that hit my craving I've had for years since my last trip.
Highest recommendation for both seasoned travelers and inexperienced tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best tortas we had in Mexico. Friendly vibe, with lots of locals. They don't sell beer, but you are welcome to bring your own (there is a little shop selling ice cold cerveza, literally a few steps away). Dogs are welcome too, meaning that you will probably see a few of them without their owners :-) I didn't mind at all, they all behaved perfectly. Very reasonable prices. We paid something like 240 pesos for 4 tortas (so it was around 3USD each)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We never had such bad service in all our time in Mexico like tonight. The waiter took our order quickly, we ordered different tacos some of them with tripa. We asked for a water as well. The waiter was more interested in the soccer game that was in TV then in his job. We waited for 35min for our food. The water never came as well. When other guests that arrived later got their food, we asked about our order. Then he checked with the kitchen just to tell us, that they don't have tripa. He totally forgot our order and let us wait for 35min just to tell us he doesn't have what we ordered! When we said we will leave the restaurant he couldn't care less. No even one word of an apology. Never had such an experience in any restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing little taqueria. Very authentic. The location on the map isn’t quite accurate, it is on the other side of the road in a pink building. We had a quesadilla and mamelas (larger tortilla with beans polla cheese and avocado). So delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best local tacos!!! Don't miss this family owned restaurant when you're in Holbox. Amazing freshly roasted meat, delicious corn tortillas, and the friendliest folks. Support them if you can, to keep Holbox the special place it is!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to have an authentic experience in Holbox, go there! The tacos are amazing and price cheap! One of the best food we had on the island. We ordered tacos and tortas and both were amazing. Also, the place was recommended by the locals.
