★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the perfect outside local spot to eat on the way from Cancun to Playa del Carmen. I got two Suadero and two pastor and the avocado salsa was just incredible. I was full but wanted to eat more. My husband insisted the bistek was incredible also. Just FYI’s for vacationers: Employees don’t speak English, but we easily made do and enjoyed ourselves. Must pay in pesos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tacos de pastor are amazing! I’ve actually been back a few times during my vacation to Puerto Morelos. Watching the chef is like watching art, I love how he cuts the pork and pineapple off and it falls into the tortilla.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't decide which I like the better; the suadero or pastor tacos. Both are full of flavor, melt in your mouth fantastic.
The pineapple slices on them add another dimension!
As others have mentioned, the chef is entertaining to watch as he cuts the pineapple and catches it with the other hand holding the tortilla and meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has been our favorite taco joint in the Colonia for years, but tonight was an off night. Meat was dry, and no grilled onions on the relish plate.
We hope they'll bounce back next time!
Update March 7: they bounced back with a great meal of tacos. The pastor was tasty and the tortillas fresh. Yay!
