★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sand flea and his crew are awesome. These guys will put you on fish, coach you through casting to them, hooking them and landing. I want to thank our guide valentin for his patience with us. I had never tarpon fished and it showed. Like a true professiinal, he adapted to our abilities and plenty of fish were landed. I also want to thank the sand flea for running a solid operation for a great value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A first rate operation and our guide Felipe(Flipper) was the best!!! My son and I have some basic fly fishing skills but definitely are not as good as most of the people who probably book one of these trips. Felipe was patient with us and not only put us on fish all day long but gave us some valuable fly fishing lessons as well. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves fishing and if your fly casting skills are a little more basic make sure to request they bring some spinning gear as the switch to that for my 11 year old son made all the difference. This winter we will be working in our fly casting skills looking forward to our return to Holbox next summer to spend another few trips fishing with Felipe!
