★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's hard to see the stage from second- and third-tier seats on the sides, it's best to trot to the very back to grab a seat with a good view of the stage. Tickets are reasonably priced so if you can, splurge for a seat on the main floor. Buy tickets ahead at the ticket office, around the corner on Hernandez Macias street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Built to honor the great Mexican soprano, Angela Peralta, a global opera star 100 years ago. The classically designed Hall and stage area are beautifully kept up and employ current a/v tech.
Every city would be proud of such a jewel of a performance space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great blace to see a show. The seating is first come fist serve a according your ticket area, com 30 min early. It you get in the front closes to the stage if the balcony section the seats are good. Fun place! Bring snacks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The theater is beautiful, very well taken care of and they have all kinds of interesting events taking place. I just saw a wonderful flamenco dance show starring pupils in their flamenco classes. The customer service is also excellent. We had unknowingly bought tickets for the 3rd floor but I have severe mobility issues and could not climb to the third floor (and no hand railings either) so this was communicated to the manager and after a brief delay we were given permission to sit in the ground floor. I really appreciated their kindness and the show was wonderful. Be sure to go to the theater but check on what floor your tickets are good for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So this evening we were so lucky to have purchased tickets to a most wondrous performance of Opera by a specially talented group of musicians and singers for the Opera L’Elisir D’Amore by Donizetti... talent was demonstrated throughout tonight’s performance.. the atmosphere was electric..I could go on and on with superlatives.. as I look at the photos of the stage at the end of the performance I again am totally pleased with our decision to be there...I await the next Opera with anticipation...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pleasant theater, I don't think it's air conditioned inside but it was nice and cool in a hot month, you can have a nice drink or appetizer right across the street at Tio Lucas that has a great pre-theater vibe. (No alcohol served in the theater) If you sit in the bar area at Tio you can watch the door across the street and wait until the line goes down!
