★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Teatro Cancún is 2 for 2 in their last ballet invitations. The Hungarian back in October and now the St. Petersburg Ballet with their presentation of The Nutcracker was a perfect selection to present during the hype of the holiday season. Also, I am happy to report the theatre goers have learned basic etiquette of not noisily eating during functions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Went for a concert of Mozart's music. I know it's not a concert hall, but I dislike having people eating corn pops at my side when I want to enjoy my music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a big city theatre, but it tries its best. Seen a number of events there and have enjoyed them. Don't expect things to start promptly. As an ex House Manager I did find it somewhat annoying, but unlike the UK things are more relaxed here. If you are going to see anything, take your own snacks and soft drinks - it can be a bit of a scramble to get refreshments at the interval. They do have a wide variety of events - worth a try. If your Spanish is not special, go for a Classical event. Last thing I saw was Carmina Burana, hoping to see Swan Lake next.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good size theatre which hosts theatre, dance and orchestral performances.
Get there early if you going by car. It is in the hotel zone and near a number of tourist attractions so parking is not easy.
I attended a performance and it was the first time I have seen eating pop corn at the ballet.
