Tequila Don Tadeo - Puerto Vallarta

Regret coming to this place. The Tequila that they gave us to try was great so I decided to buy a few bottles. Once we had gotten back to the States, I decided to open them up to show people it. To my surprise, it was horrible and nothing like I had drank while at Tequlia Don Tadeo. Save your money and go to the store in Puerto Vallarta and buy yourself a '1800 Cristalino'. I can promise that it will be well worth your money and even cost less than this (enter a curse word).

Here it's where I tested tequila for the first time in my life and as a non drinker , I felt in love with their products instantly.. I never drank before hard liquors in my life,but their coffee, chocolate, etc , specials blew me up ... I bought 12 bottles instantly.. lasted me 8 yrs...that's how much of a drinker I m ...but it was all delicious to the last sip..I can't wait for Mexico to open up borders so I can go back to buy more of this specialty tequilla. I give em 11 out of 10!! Just love it !!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Tourist beware. We were taken here as part of a tour going to El Eden. We ended up getting sold on the most expensive bottle, a Don Tadeo añejo tequila for about $70 USD. The people at the front said they would bubble wrap it to protect it for the flight back to the United States. It was wrapped so well you could not tell what it was. To my shock when I got home to the U.S. what they gave me was a bottle of coffee tequila which cost $27….big difference. I dont even like coffee. I immediately called the company, left messages, emailed them but nothing, they never responded. I am now convinced that this was no mistake but simply they are taking advantage of foreigners, why else wouldn’t they respond? so sad. Don’t be fooled! ¡HORRIBLE EXPERIENCIA! Turista cuidado. Nos llevaron aquí como parte de un tour hacia El Edén. Terminamos comprando la botella más cara, un tequila añejo Don Tadeo por alrededor de $ 70 dólares. Las personas en el frente dijeron que envolverían la botella con papel burbujas para protegerlo para el vuelo de regreso a los Estados Unidos. Estaba tan bien envuelto que se podía distinguir que era. Para mi sorpresa cuando llegué a casa a los Estados Unidos, lo que me dieron fue una botella de tequila de café que costaba $ 27 ... una gran diferencia. A mi primeramente ni me gusta el café. Inmediatamente llamé a la compañía, dejé mensajes, les envié un correo electrónico pero nada, nunca respondieron. Ahora estoy convencida de que esto no fue un error, sino que simplemente se están aprovechando de los extranjeros, ¿Por qué otra razón no responderían? Que tristeza que hagan eso. ¡No te dejes engañar!

Best tequila I've ever tasted and I am not a shot drinker, I didn't know I liked shots but I guess it's because I wasn't drinking the good stuff. Never thought I'd say a shot was delicious.

Nice little place not too far to get some knowledge of tequila if you don't want 10 hour round trip to dig deeper. Knowledgeable stuff.

Another stop on from the city tour. It was interesting the learn about the process to make tequila, but they just want to sell you their stock. And the tastings are more on the flavored stuff (not my type of shot). Would have loved to see the barreling, etc.

Kinda cool. They explained everything on how it's made, but it's all just a sales pitch in the end. They did let us taste all the wares and they were good. Ended up buying a few bottles and customs didn't even care.
