It is bus Terminal, I have been through it many times. Not bad, not great, but it gets the job done

ADO bus station 5 av is opened 24 hrs, they have private bags storage, free wifi, foreign exchange, you can buy online in advance to get better price, or buy direct the station . They have 24 hrs stores around for snacks. info by Playa del Carmen Insiders Guide

Commonly named the ADO bus terminal !! There are 2 ADO bus terminals in Playa, one Touristica and one local. Bus was very well on time to Tulum, different and smaller terminals in other cities as well as paying and non-paying restrooms, departures are well annonced for non Spanish speaking tourists. You may get big and confortable buses with AC and restroom or smaller crowdy commute buses without restrooms but with AC and movies with lound sounds ;) Make sure you ask the best one for you. In the ADO terminal, you will find a convenient store as well as a subway restaurant and, in front, a McDonald's restaurant. Located a few steps away from the beach, the Fundadores park with a playground for kids and local food and fruits kiosks, a church with daily service, the historical portal maya, a 50 foot high arched beachside sculpture of a man and a woman in a swirl of water and wind, the Playa Del Carmen colorful sign, restaurants, local shops and a shopping mall with a Starbuck free Wi-Fi coffee shop, Zara, Apple shop and various other brand names stores. Destination Belize: If you are looking to exit Mexico because of the expiring of your tourist visa and re-enter or simply go to Belize, daily buses / coaches at 8h00am and 23h45pm from ADO Touristica, corner 5th ave and Ave Juarez, are available on site only but, not available on the website or on the ADO mobile app. Get the ADO mobile app for iPhone or Android.
