Calamari was the saltiest I have ever eaten in PV. Worse was a clump of hair in the lettuce that the calamari came with. Ugh!

The salmon was perfectly cooked with just enough herbs and spices. Gabriel Torres was in charge of bringing my order.

Charming place and beautiful space! We watched this place being built from Loma del Mar across the street over the summer. They did a beautiful job! The menu is unique and exciting, the staff is gracious and attentive, the drinks and cuisine are thoughtful and tasty. I'm not a paella connoisseur, but it seems very authentic, though the seafood flavor seemed to take over the whole dish, even the rice. The Spanish potato tortilla cake was delicious and the lentil soup sounds fantastic. Will have to come back to try that and some other things on the menu. Gabrielle was our server and he was wonderful and so hospitable! Bonus fact: They also rent out 2 cars that are out front with a sign, we rented one for 3 days and had a great experience!

This is a newer restaurant, just opened in the fall 2021, by a friendly husband and wife team, who welcomed us on our arrival. We sampled several starters of ham and salmon, all very good; a massive Spanish potato tortilla, served hot with a well paired sauce; and a remarkable black rice paella, filled with seafood and squid ink. Come here for the paellas: we saw another, seafood, and it looked outstanding. They are still finding their restaurant legs, though, across friendly but uneven or untrained service (we were served appetizers before silverware, eg). At this price point service should be well sorted. But this takes time for a new restaurant to get right. I’d come back for the delicious and authentic Spanish paella, or have one delivered for a party night (looks like they do events and takeout from their Instagram, @pinoyazafran). You can sense the passion and pride the chef owner has.

What a great discovery! A real Spanish authentic restaurant from Barcelona here in Puerto Vallarta. It’s right next to pinnacle and the 200. Incredible chef imported from Puebla. I had the salmon and it is probably the best salmon I’ve ever had. I love their Papas Bravas also.
