★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first trip to Mexico City. The Alest Hotel exceeded our expectations for service, comfort and location. The Alest Hotel is a quiet oasis in a vibrant busy city. The friendly and professional staff went out of their way to make every detail perfect. And the Alest is on a quiet tree lined street meters from Lincoln Park. I could hear birds from our Terraza and virtually no traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This boutique hotel is a real gem in the heart of one of the best areas of Mexico City. Both the food and service are excellent, as well as the location. It is within a fairly short walk to most major museums (20 mins) and great restaurants. The interior design if the hotel is also first rate. We booked a trip to the pyramids through the hotel which was also terrific. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Mexico City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is a hidden gem, not to be missed! Our first impression was that the menu appears to be fairly limited. We decided to stay and try some appetizers before rendering a verdict and everything far exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail with every dish, right down to a tiny edible flower on each shaved radish was photo worthy. The professional staff would make any chef proud for how carefully they presented the food. The best I’ve had in Mexico City during the month I’ve been here. We’ll be back!
