The City Condos - 77720 Playa del Carmen

Possibly the best place to stay in Playa del Carmen. Centrally located, Mega is right across the street for all your grocery needs. Within the Condo it's very quiet and you have your choice of 2 pools. One pool on the ground floor in the center of the complex. And another on the rooftop for "adults" only. There's also a gym, with treadmill, bicycle, and elliptical trainer for cardio. A bench and dumbbells from 10lbs to 45lbs. And finally a cable machine with just about everything else. The gym is fully enclosed and fully air conditioned. Right outside the gym is a dry and wet sauna for after your workout! And why watch your favorite online movie streaming service in your room when there's also a private cinema available for your use?! Complete.with reclining chairs, sofa, and a pretty decent sound system. Watching your favorite movies will never be the same again! The people working at the front desk are very polite and accommodating, providing security for the building as well. Last but not least, you can get 5 gallon water bottles from the front desk too! No need to order them or carry them back from the street. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it!

The home of never ending construction.. Looks beautiful when the sun is out, but construction happening most days. 3 weeks on the downstairs pool, days without electricity or water, regular major construction in the individual apartments.

Really good location near the 5th and the beach but still calm at night, has lots of utilities like a gym, 2 pools, sauna and even a coffee shop. Great stay here and nice employees !

Great place to stay especially considering the prime location. The apartment we stayed in was perfect. However, the shower wasn’t the best. It took a while to shower since the water pressure wasn’t much.

We stayed our first 2 nights here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Our car was parked in a secure lot under the building. The location was great, close to everything.

Really happy... Mex 30,000 per month (£1100). No washing machine or laundry in the building, but there is one next door.

Hotel feel for air bnb prices. Had a concierge check us in and retrieved keys from a lockbox. Be prepared to pay electric bill for ac use in your room but that is normal with this area. Shallow courtyard pool with bar is a nice touch. Also be weary that the hallways become saunas when the weather is hot.

We stayed here through airbnb. Nice property with great amenities and the perfect location. But the best thing about this place is the front desk staff. They are great at working around the language barrier and are always kind and helpful. Deanna and Fidel especially went above and beyond to help us. Best service I’ve received anywhere.
