★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great bar. Employees are super friendly and welcoming. Pepe was a great bartender. Crazy that this bar play nonthing but COUNTRY MUSIC.. yes you heard me right. The two owners(Canadian & Mexican)were freaken amazing rolled out the red carpet for us. When in Ixtapa you have to go to this sports bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generals is the place to be in Ixtapa Square! The best food, both Mexican and "Canadian" style eats! A bouncy castle for the kids, sports playing on the big screens for those sprts patriots! And amazing owner and staff! My kids LOVE this place, in 6 months here it is still our favorite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to watch your favorite teams while in Mexico. The staff made sure requested games were showing on multiple televisions. Two extra large projection screens and many other TVs. Open air with fans. Seating at the bar and at low tables, inside and out. Fun atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiters are friendly and welcoming. First night we went the food was good, we had chicken alfredo and a club house sandwich with an order of chicken wings. The Alfredo sauce was really good! Loved every bite. The sandwich was good, pretty standard. The wings looked great but were disappointing.. kinda mushy in texture and overall not very good. We went back a second night, ordered the chicken alfredo again and a Hawaiian pizza. The Alfredo sauce tasted like mushroom soup that was dressed up with some wine, onion and cheese. The pizza was very disappointing, I've had better frozen pizza..
Good location, no live entertainment on both nights. Vendors are constantly coming to your table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our favorite places to visit in Ixtapa. If you want to spend the day watching sports, eating some good food and meeting lots of friendly folks. Genaro, Estrella and their staff are super amazing and friendly with their guest. My family and I visit this bar every year when we come to vacation in Ixtapa. These is our third year here. Food is amazing and the drinks too. The General is the place to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great spot, highly recommend. Greeted at our table by The General himself, amazing service from Anna and perfect food preparation at out table by Jerry. Guacamole made right at your table. My wife and I shared the Ixtapa Shrimp and a steak Apache Plate, both were amazing. The rest of our group had various dishes and all very much enjoyed them. A must go when in Ixtapa.
