Desde años atrás, el campo y sus procesos se han industrializado cada vez más. El uso indiscriminado de plaguicidas y fertilizantes sintéticos ha provocado la pérdida de fertilidad de la tierra, la destrucción de la vida silvestre y la proliferación de los alimentos transgénicos, que ponen en riesgo nuestra salud, el frágil equilibrio de la naturaleza y a muchas variedades de semillas autóctonas. Así mismo, el desequilibrio ocasionado por la producción agroindustrial ha desplazado a pequeños agricultores a las ciudades y ha disminuido nuestra seguridad alimentaria.
Sin embargo, pese a existir una gran cantidad de proyectos y productores orgánicos y agroecológicos utilizando técnicas para proteger el medio ambiente y aumentar la biodiversidad, y pese a haber consumidores interesados en productos orgánicos y de comercio justo, ninguno de los actores encontraba los canales adecuados para la venta y adquisición de productos respetuosos con el medio ambiente y las comunidades.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love to shop here and I come here for my kombucha supplies and other goodies. However, the food is disappointing. The beef burger is so dry that I could hardly swallow. The worst burger I had in years. I wouldn’t come back for dining here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really delicious, healthy meal! I had the Lebanon bowl with brown rice (minus the taboule). The falafel and tahini came in seperate mini bowls (not pictured). I also ordered double veg to replace the table hence the extra courgettes and carrots!
My boyfriend had the tinka chicken tostadas. It was a very good portion size however too much salad and the cheese slightly lacked flavour.
Service was prompt and friendly, happy to accomodate to dietary requirements. Good prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little health food store. It was super close to my Airbnb while staying in CDMX so I frequented here. Not the biggest selection, and always seemed to be hectic inside— staff running around and blocking people trying to shop. The food I got was good though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel sad to give this place 3 stars, the reason for it is the restaurant, the shop is 4/5 stars since it has alot of organic products but the restaurant has very little vegan healthy meals, its a huge menu and only 5 meals were vegan. I ordered tacos with roasted tofu, and the tofu was not roasted and the sauce was cold, so the whole meal was cold. I told the waitress and she kindly took it away and didn't charge me. I think they need a better chef there who is paying more attention to catering for all types of people.
I used to worked in a restaurant that served meat and the chef made the most amazing vegan and vegetarian meals even tho he wasn't vegan. Its possible...you just have to be well trained and conscientious.
