This area protected by the Government is totally sustainable and with a view of the navigation channels for small oars; It gives the feeling of living an adventure of a dream. The water is turquoise in the channels (mostly made artificially), few people in the country know this paradise. On the road from Playa del Carmen to Las Ruinas Arqueológicas there is a town near this Xenote, a small hut gives the orientation and sale of tickets to reach the dock where this journey begins. From there, the villagers of the community take care of the area and they are responsible for the area. of the area, make a transfer to the dock, there you go up to small boats (driven by boatmen from the community) and start the tour in the lagoon, and start by one of the channels. You can see exotic birds, reptiles and amphibians (sometimes at a certain distance crocodiles can be seen as they look for a certain type of water), you get half way along the channels that are immersed in the jungle to a cabin with a small dock where You can descend and observe what history has left in that hidden place. From there, you can go down to the next part of the channel by snorkeling, swimming or simply allowing the current to take you, after a distance traveled you will climb back to the boat until you reach the coast and you will find a unique beach in that part of the Caribbean.

There are two strips of hammocks, they were just a bit dirty But I imagine that due to the use of many people but the area is good in general I give it a 7.5 last year when the visit is better

Cero recomendable.
Zero recommended. Extremely loud electronic music blaring all day. The food in general of very poor quality. Although called "all inclusive" the guest has to narrow rigid schedules to eat or drink. In the menu you report that they have several dishes. Restaurants for dinner only serves 20 tables per hour (for a hotel of 400 hab). Very bad attention in general, faulty installations in general and rooms with old furniture.

Terrible service, it says that it is a hotel for adults only and there are children everywhere! It looks dirty, they take a long time to check-in, there are too many people, not even a glass of water has been offered to us, since it is very hot inside the hotel. Although they offer areas only for adults it is useless because they do not respect them, there are children, screams and tantrums everywhere, I do not recommend this hotel at all

Not good, I agree with the other comments. Upon arrival we had to wait for a room for 2 hours even though we checked in at 4pm. Upon getting to our room we had to wait another hour for our luggage to get delivered to the room. We stayed here over New years and this is still very much under construction. The initial room we stayed in literally had the roof collapse over our heads and the bathroom was not working. The room was not clean. Very poor organization and management. One person tells you one thing and then someone else says the oposite. Very complicated to try to book a restaurant for lunch or dinner. You cannot do it ahead of time and we never were able to get into where we wanted to eat come 6pm all dinner seatings were flled up. Better food selection at their family resort that is beside it. There were hard working employees and I feel bad for writing this kind of review as I have never experienced this at any other resort I spent this kind of money on. The list goes on. Zombie resort bad entertainment. If anybody wants proof contact me.

Although recently upgraded, there is still more which could be done to improve the experience. Elevator were constantly not working, hot water was a problem at times, only one buffet restaurant to attend the rest were a line up to get in and usually took a while. Front desk staff was not friendly, food was cold at times or not available if you were not there in good time. Pool is not heated and for the most part not used. Beach was ok but there are not enough loungers and what are there are in very poor repair. There are no activities to speak of and the one that is there is annoying and tends to have racist tones. There are cabana beds which line both sides of the pool and they take up way too much space, if these were taken away there would be much more room to use the pool when lined with lounge chairs. As it is there are only 10 of these and if you are not up at the ball crack of dawn , you will not get one. The resort is in the city area and is very busy. There are constant people on the beach trying to sell things to u. We did take the bus into town one morning but the downtown vendors make it so you cannot enjoy a site see.
