★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La señorita que te atiende en el mostrador, es elitista. Tres señoras entraron antes que yo y las saludo amablemente, cuando entre yo, me vió de arriba abajo y ni siquiera me saludo. Qué pena las demás personas del museo son muy amables.
The lady who serves you at the counter is elitist. Three ladies entered before me and greeted them kindly, when I came in, he looked me up and down and didn't even say hello. Too bad the other people in the museum are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una tienda muy bonita dónde se pueden encontrar artesanías con lo más representativo el arte popular mexicano. Hechos con materiales tan diversos como textiles, cerámica, cartonería, joyería, vidriería, etc. En aplicaciones que van desde blusas, vestids, chales, cestería, jarrones, juguetería tradicional, diablos, catrinas, cráneos, esqueletos, árboles de la vida, jaguares, vasos tequileros, vajillas de Talavera, etc. Se pueden encontrar algunos libros y revistas temáticas relacionadas dentro del cual se encuentra esta tienda. Los precios no son económicos, como en toda tienda de artesanías de un museo, están muy por debajo el precio en galerías de arte popular.
A very nice shop where you can find crafts with the most representative Mexican folk art. Made with materials as diverse as textiles, ceramics, cardboard, jewelry, glassware, etc. In applications ranging from blouses, vestids, shawls, baskets, vases, traditional toys, devils, catrines, skulls, skeletons, trees of life, jaguars, tequila glasses, Talavera tableware, etc. You can find some books and related thematic magazines within which this store is located. Prices are not cheap, as in any museum craft store, the price in popular art galleries is well below.

The store is very nice and there is a great variety of crafts from all states. The prices are not so accessible but it is understood to be a museum store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to visit this museum on November 2nd, day of the Dead. According to Google it was open. Upon arrival it turned out it was closed for that day, only the gift shop was open to the public which I visited. After choosing some souvenirs and paying for them, I got them packed for traveling. A couple of days later, when leaving Mexico City, I realized a bracelet was not among the packed items although it was charged. I wanted to at least get a refund so I called the museum store a number of times unsuccessfully ("the system is not available at this time, try later") Not a happy customer obviously.
