★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast service. Extra queso and chorizo was decent. Try and bring exact money; was not able to take 500 peso bill on 200 peso order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived near this restaurant for 6 months and only went a couple times. To be honest, the service isn’t the friendliest. They kind of seemed put out that we were there. The tlayudas are good but as a tourist, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here as good tlayudas can be found all over the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suitable for vegetarians. ? They were very accomodating to top the tlayudas with nopal (cactus). Great place to try warm tlayudas against the background of live music and jamaica (hibiscus) drink for a good price! Very smoky location and poor ventilation unfortunately. Other food like tostadas was not served warm.
Pay in cash or expect to be charged 3% extra for credit card payment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is clean! I didn't get sick. I had the Costilla Tlayuda. It was great! The menu doesn't say there is beer and mezcal. But, they do sell it. The staff was friendly and they had live music. The place was a little smokey due to the cooking. But, it was manageable. I highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun and authentic! Best tlyadas right from the bbq. And yes, they do have beer and mezcal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the tlayuda without meat. It was crispy and flavorful. The toppings were also very good, pickled onions, guacamole and a smoky red salsa. The best tlayudas we have had so far!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I happened to walk by when I was looking for dinner. The reviews looked good so I decided to go in. Live music by a guitarist/singer, the smell of a 'smoker' (the cooking device). Not crowded at 4pm, three other occupied tables. I asked the server for recommendations since I had never seen or eaten a tlayuda. She recommended the costillo as an example of regional food. I said OK. See photo. The meat on top is cooked pork rib. Inside the tortilla is mashed black beans, cheese, and something creamy. It was good...not my favorite flavor, but good. A worthwhile culinary and cultural experience.
